The White Horse is situated in Easebourne near Midhurst. The A272 runs right past the small street that we are located on making it easily accessible by road and a combination of bus and rail connections mean Haslemere, Horsham, Chichester or Petersfield are within easy reach. The array of beautiful countryside that surrounds the pub also makes The White Horse an excellent refreshment point for walkers and cyclists.

By Road
From the South, take the Midhurst A272 exit, follow into Midhurst and take signs for Petworth. After leaving Midhurst the road sweeps to the right in Easebourne, turn left just after. The pub is well signposted.

From the North, at the Hindhead crossroads turn left towards Haslmere. As you enter Haslmere take A287 right, signposted Midhurst (and Heron’s leisure centre). Follow road right onto A286. As you enter Easebourne turn left on Wheelbarrow Castle. Follow to the end then take first left signposted White Horse.

From the East travel along A272 from Petworth. After passing Cowdray golf course on the right, and polo on the left, turn right, signposted White Horse.

By Rail / Bus
From Haslemere train station take the 70, 71 or 92 towards Midhurst. Disembark at Easebourne Wheelbarrow Castle stop. Walk down Wheelbarrow Castle. Follow to the end then take 1st left signposted White Horse.

By Bike
Local: With a myriad of beautiful country villages and quite roads linking them there’s plenty of rides to be had in the area, and we’ll welcome you for a pint when you’re done.

Cycle from London: At just 54 miles from Regents Park The White Horse of Easebourne is ideally located as a destination for your weekend rides. Set off early and lunch will be ready on your arrival. We’ll fill your water bottles and send you back in the afternoon. Between February and November you’ll easily be back by dark. Feel free to try this tried and tested route by our landlord, or if you have a better then please feel free to share with us.
